New Coen Bros Movie!!!: "A Serious Man" - Blu-ray Forum

Can't find any info on this site and there's very little info about this movie on the rest of the web. Apparently it opens TOMORROW!!, but no theater near me seems to be carrying it. Is this a New York, L.A. thing till it gets wider release?

The few reviews of it are stellar and the preview looks great.
Looks like most of the Coen regulars are missing from the cast.

Tell me about it. I'm very disappointed in myself and bluray.com as a whole.

Oh well, the actresses that are hot after 22, but lose their looks at 28 thread is going strong and that's all that matters.

I'm I the only one that's totally creeped out by those threads?! It doesn't help that the two primary posters are both in their mid-teens. Feels like a bunch of dudes buying Playboys for the kids at the Mini-Mart circa 1981. Creep city.

I saw the trailer about a month ago and was hooked, but again, a limited release, so I won't see it unless they have a wider release eventually.

"A Serious Man" looks like a very good movie. I'd imagine, in Coen brothers fashion, the plot will have a great deal of depth and the characters will be very well-developed.

I notice it starts 10/9 at a lot of theaters. Wonder why they're being so secretive about this movie? I mean, there's been absolutely nothing in the media about it. Hardly a peep.
