New PlayStation 3 Starter Pack Announced for Europe

High Definition, next generation entertainment is more accessible than ever thanks to the new high value Starter Pack.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has announced the introduction of a Starter Pack for PLAYSTATION 3, comprising a PS3, two games and two SIXAXIS Wireless Controllers, priced at €599.

The choice of games will vary from territory to territory, but will include hits such as Resistance: Fall of Man and MotorStorm - games that truly demonstrate the power of PLAYSTATION 3, and the sheer spectacle of High Definition entertainment on Blu-ray Disc.

With two SIXAXIS Wireless Controllers included, the Starter Pack is perfect for those seeking multiplayer entertainment, and brings the excitement of PS3 to a much wider audience.

The Starter Pack will roll out across SCEE territories from 13 July, and will be available in all territories from 1 August.

I remember getting the equivalent (without the games) back in the day with the original PlayStation value pack.

I wonder which games they'll offer in other countries.
