Best Buy? Who knew...

so i, probably like some of you, bought a PS3 just a little over a month before the $100 price drop. sucks to be us because we missed out on the 5 dvd offer and yeah..the 100 would have been nice. we're victims of bad timing. so i was just testing the waters and i sent best buy an email explaining my predicament (i bought my ps3 from them) and asked if it was possible to be refunded the difference in store credit (doesnt hurt to try). i just got an email back from them and though they cant honor my request due to the bad timing ( being that it was over 30 days from my purchase date to the price drop) they did tell me that they would mail me a $15 gift certificate. and you know...i thought that was legit. i took it and though disappointed with the situation, im stoked on the gesture and will use that money to buy a blu-ray dvd. score. i encourage you to e-mail best buy customer care if your situation mirrors mine. and thats that.
