Do you know if the current season of Curb You Enthusiasm is going to be released on Blu-Ray?

I doubt it. They'd probably have to get permission from all of the actors appearing on the show this season like Jerry Seinfeld and I doubt they would allow it.

If he appears in the episode, the producers have the right to distribute his appearance in the show in whatever medium, I'm sure. They wouldn't make a declaration of it being allowed on cable and DVD but not Blu-ray. If this season fails to appear on Blu-ray, it will NOT be because of the Seinfeld reunion arc.

And actually, hasn't Seinfeld appeared in previous seasons? I don't watch the show, but I think I recall reading that Seinfeld himself had appeared on the show before, but the reason this season was special was that it was a full cast reunion.

Is this series even shot in HD? I've seen it on HBO-HD and there's no noticeable upgrade in picture quality from the SD channel.

HBO hasn't been great about releasing their shows on Blu-ray, and I doubt this show would be a priority to bring to Blu. I'd be surprised if it comes to Blu.

The current season is the first to be shot in HD. It looks absolutely beautiful compared the seasons 1-6.
