I am super excited for Up on blu...counting down the days. My GF and I both love the entire Pixar library and I am sure this one will not be an exception to that.

Just an FYI: Amazon is now offering $10 off when you pre-order Up and Monsters, Inc. together. To me, that beats a steelbook.

$46.48 for both is an unbelievably good deal; I wonder if Best Buy will offer something similar, seeing as both Pixar releases will be available on the same day (I hope they do; I want to keep the UP! steelbook I bought yesterday )

Looks like Monsters Inc. is still $34.99 at BB; this may remove them from all consideration if no incentives are offered.

Damn! I had both UP and Monster's Inc pre-ordered separately but then added them together after I read that you'll get $10 off. When I went for checkout, I noticed that the total came out to be $36.48. I was like wtf? I looked at the breakdown and I had a 'Snow White Thanks' promotion. What was this? Was it the price decrease from $24.99 to $14.99? I am so happy for this. Now if the prices of these two disks go down by a few dollars, I might get them even at a cheaper price!!!

Even though I preordered it from Best Buy, it ended up being much cheaper for me to take advantage of Amazon.com's deal. I preordered Up and Monster's Inc. for $56.48 and they knocked $10 off. Then they also gave me an additional $10 off because I bought Snow White through them. And I recently traded in some DVDs and they gave me an extra $10 coupon to use towards any Blu-Ray purchase. So my final total from Amazon for both films will be $26.48. Even when you add the $7.50 Steelbook ($33.98), I doubt any store will have a deal where you can pick up both for less than $40.

Its worth a blind buy in my opinion. If you love Wall-E you will certainly love this one.

I woud say yes, it's a blind buy. I really enjoyed it.
Not just that, but for the most part, you can't really go wrong with a Pixar film. They know how to make good movies

I'd say UP would be a great blind buy, just like Moefiz said, if you liked Wall*e, you'll like UP.

this is a hundred percent my opinion...

Up is better than Wall-E

Wall-E force the message to the audience that is too straight and obvious.

That makes wall-e too serious and make too many senses for an animation

it's a good movie, i like it but I like up better.

This is pure entertainment and not-too-obvious sub-message

... then again all of which are my opinion and i really do think both of themare really good movies and worth every penny spent.

Up was an excellent movie. I think it was more fun then Wall-E. The dogs in the movie are freaking hilarious.

Anyone see this movie jumping in sales with yesterdays Runaway-balloon all over the news? Kind of relates lol.

Absolutely, this is a must buy! Getting UP and Monsters Inc on Nov 10th! Very beautiful movie. The beginning is extremely sad, while the later parts of the movie are very adventurous and fun. Great emotional contrast, Pixar hit another home run.
