I wanna change my current name to another, anyway to do this? i can't seem to find it..

PM a mod. You need to have a good reason, but it's doable.

Mods cannot do this, only site admins. They will see your post and respond shortly.

Make sure you put some info in your sig once you change the name...that way we will know it is you

. I had been lurking here for a while, but had never joined. One day I needed to ask a question, and created the user name "Blue Neon"

. Iceman was nice enough to change it for me later on.

So, I can change my name by PMing Iceman? Why can't you have the ability to change your name in the "Edit Profile" page? That would've been more efficient.

Because then (some) people would change name every day and the whole forum would be quite confusing

On the other hand I'm also getting far too many name change requests, so we might implement some solution where you are allowed to change name yourself every 6-12 months or so. Anyway, what name would you like?

I think that is a good idea, but I think even then there should be a limit between changes or a maximum amount of changes per member.

Maybe I'll change my name when I reached 4,500-5,000 posts. For now, "Kotsedriver" is fine.

Or maybe "The Blu-ray Guru Formerly Known As Kotsedriver".

I think that would be a good solution. It would undoubtedly help clear out many a request from yours and Marwin's inbox.

Also, thanks for obliging to many of the ones who have requested a change thus far (myself included). I don't think we see enough "thanks Iceman, Marwin" around here
