Default Ok-who's growin' a beard.......?

Just curious to find out who else is growing or is planning to grow a beard. For the past couple years at about this time, I start growing mine to help keep my face warmer as the weather starts getting colder-plus it helps cover the baby-face.

How about before and after pics? This will be a interesting thread.....

Someday Kotsedriver you'll be old enough to grow one!
j/k.

I've had one before, lasted a few years, then shaved it in favor of a tee. Pretty long one now...

Good one jbig!

I've had a goatee for going on....hmmmm, lemme think.....about 25 years. I've shaved it off a few times in between, but haven't done that in a while now. It hides the wrinkles (something to condsier at 56). LOL

I've had the mustache/goatee combo for the past 15yrs or so-I really do have a baby-face so it helps make me look a little older. I'm 38, and everyone thinks that I'm only in my mid-20's. I have accidently set the trimmer on too low a setting and whammo! I look like a little kid!

I am not sure how long that I have had the current beard, but I would say at least 12 years. I have had a beard for most of the last 30+ years. But, boy has it turned gray.

Whenever I try to grow a goatee I end up having more white hair instead of black and the boss doesn't like that so I have to end up shaving it off.

Mine is just starting to show a little gray! Weird really as I have no gray hair on my head. And no, I'm not bald! Full head of hair!

Well my hair is getting fairly gray at this point, but the beard though is still has some dark hair is ahead of the hair color in going gray. It is distinguished however. Unfortunately, I probably only have about 80%+? of my hair left losing some in the front and the temples. But, it is a lot better than my Dad who lost probably 80% and started losing it about 21 or my Mom's father who had still less hair.

I'm growing one right now film acting purposes. It's oddly symetrical on both sides, there's a patch where the hair just doesn't grow in on both sides.

My Dad, who's 82 now, still has a full head of hair and barely any gray. It was the same with both my Grandfathers, who were both 87 when they passed. I guess I picked up some good genes there!

Had the goatee for about 10 years then put a trimmed beard on about a year ago. I want to grow out one of those epic, viking beards but I'll look like a tool.

My job doesn't allow beards for safety reasons, and I don't care for the mustache/goatee thing.

It seems all the college-age kids these days have beards. When I was that age you would have about a 0% chance of lady company if you had hair on your face. Funny how the trends change. I used to want a goatee/mustache a while back but now they're about as popular as tattoos. So I keep scraping my face with a piece of metal every day.
