Why is Barbra Streisand's Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, Funny Lady & Yentl or Liza Minnelli's Cabaret & New York New York not on Blu ray yet?

These are the classic musicals!

Probably because most of them are Fox--
And if Fox has any priority for vintage catalog musicals, the Rodgers & Hammersteins get first dibs...Even the hetero fans like those.

There are alot of movies not on blu-ray yet. As for musicals, I agree about Carabet, but I would assume greater classics like Singin in the rain, Sound of Music, Oklahoma, West Side Story and My Fair Lady would be up first.

West Side Story needs to come out in 2010, hopefully in one of those fancy coffee table editions or something similar.

I just watched my SE DVD not too long ago.. hopefully a blu would bring out all those magnificent, saturated colors.
