Nice teaser trailer.

I heard about the concert, but for the longest time it was DVD only. So glad they're bringing it out on blu-ray.

Went from seeing these guys in the smallest clubs and venues in San Francisco years back to now only being able to see them live at big stadiums.

This is such a welcomed release
I was wondering when they would put out a live album or greatest hits, so far.
I imagine they'll do another Christmas song also, for release sometime during the holidays.

My girlfriend has a crush on the drummer( Ronnie Vannucci ), and funny enough while we were at The Warfield show for Sams Town we met his mom on the floor. I embarrased my girlfriend by telling his mom she has a thing for him.
Funny thing is she replied" alot do, and honey he's married ".

Please let this release have lossless audio

Haha that's cool. I saw them quite a while ago at the Civic Center in San Francisco. Ronnie and maybe one other member were walking around outside the theater.. crossing the street and stuff. Kind of a trip to see them in the flesh - not more than 20 feet away. Why Ronnie though? That guy is pretty funny looking.

I have no idea, I think it's his stagemanship while playing the drums. Funny thing is most of the girls are all about Brandon. My girlfriend is the oldest cliche in the book, she likes the drummer.

Saw them at Slim's just before Hot Fuss came out, then saw them at the Filmore and Warfield a few times.
Filmore show just as Sams Town came out was the best I've seen them. Also the closest,up against the stage. The guitarist kicked a chicks sweatshirt in my face because she had laid it on the end of the stage, he was stepping forward doing one of his no emotion guitar stances.
Brother had a extra ticket for the Not so Silent Night, but turned it down because it was in a stadium.
I have a hard time going to see bands in stadiums when I've seen them play smaller venues for so long. The nice thing is The Killers, like in the past, will do a small tour before they launch into a larger one. So there's still hope to see them at the Warfield or Filmore once again.

Wow this was almost out of nowhere! I never expected this release to happen. I saw them live in MPLS MN and they were so good.

The show looked amazing and all I thought was it needed to be in HD so bad.

I can't wait to buy this BD. Day one purchase!

Does anyone know if the BD includes the live CD?

It seems that there are two versions, a DVD w/ CD and a BD that may or may not include the live CD. I would really like the live CD as well, but I would hate to have to buy the crap DVD when I could have a BD and really don't want to buy both.

The Blu-ray does not include the CD. The Killers has also announced a few collector's edition of the DVD/CD and Blu-ray. The highest class of the three is the Collector's Package which includes the copy of the concert, a vinyl of 12" Human, 12" Spaceman and 7" Human, posters, and a Day and Age LP with 180g Vinyl. That will cost $79, and the other two will be $29.99 and the normal package which will be $24.99 and $19.99 from them. I think I will be going for the normal version from Amazon or Best Buy.

They will also be screening the concert in select theaters on November 5th ONLY. For locations, I think you can check it at http://dandeentertainment.com/thekillers/.

It's rare these days to buy a CD that is infinitely listenable from the first to last track. The Killers have produced three studio albums (four if you include Sawdust) that stand among the works of the most classic rock bands of any decade. In fact, The Killers are among my favorite bands of all time. I took my nephew to the Sam's Town Tour here in Phoenix a couple of years ago but unfortunately had to miss the current tour. I was hoping there would be a live video release of this concert and my wish was granted. I am really looking forward to this Blu-ray disc—perhaps more than any other release in November—and that's saying alot.

for Retail pricing for those not ordering on the net. Best Buy will have the CD/DVD set for just 11.99 ( so to me that is a good price just for the CD) I will buy it for the CD and then buy the Blu of course. This should look so good in HD. I wonder if it will honestly be 1080p or 1080i?

Still I am excited.

Amazon.com pre-order prices are good.

I'll be doing the same thing.

So far everyone has it at 1080p, but can't be confirmed. Most concerts are 1080i, I imagine we shall know in less than one week though.
