Just saw this on the www.bestbuy.ca website. (I guess they are doing trade-ins now too. Expires Oct 30,2009. Works with the 360 as well. Minimum $9 TIV, NO Duplicates.

not sure about the first question, but I don't see why not. You should be able to mix and match.


I believe it is for ANY game that has a value of $69.99 or less. Not sure what 4 games you're talking about?

well it shows GH 5, ultimate alliance etc on the splash page, so i thought it might just be for those

EDIT: btw, how did you get that list of "cheap" games out there?

I know its an awesome deal!! Only till Oct 30th. I plan to buy 4 -$10 games tomorrow and trade them in for 2 new games.

Other than all the games listed in the first post I'm not 100% how to tell which games have a $9 TIV

Love this deal. I traded in 4 games last night for Uncharted 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma (both PS3) for free.

Games I traded and associated TIV's were:

Far Cry 2 (PS3) - $13.00
Lost Odyssey (360) - $10.80
Guitar Hero 3 (360) - $13.20
Soul Calibur 4 (PS3) - $10.80

In doing some research Best Buy goes by a different inventory system than Future Shop and they are a little behind in the TIV's (Best Buy is) so you'll notice some TIV values at BB are higher than FS. The Red Flag Deals website that was quoted above is an awesome reference for current TIV's from Blockbuster, Future Shop and EB. Also www.tivs.ca is an excellent reference tool too. You just need to check both websites constantly to check the current TIV for each retail company. (I'm hoping tivs.ca will add Best Buy to the list now).

Thanks for posting! It is an amazing deal. I plan to hunt my local EB/Walmart/BBV and find 4-8 games to trade!
