Does anyone know if this series will be released on Blu-Ray anytime soon? I love the show but was dissapointed to see only a standard DVD release for it's first season. I would love have it on DVD, but would rather wait for a BR release if one is coming within say a year or so.

I checked the board for anything about this and came up with nothing.

Last I heard, someone said the author of the book posted on his site there'd be no blu ray until "prices came down," whatever that means. I would've picked this up on Blu-- I won't on DVD. Having watched it in HD, I don't want to go backwards.

I read the same thing. I think it was from a press conference from comic-con. They said it will be on Blu-ray but not until prices go down. I'll just netflix the DVDs for now.

I know the Blu-ray has been worked on... I wouldn't be surprised if something is announced before the end of the year...

I want to watch the series, and am waiting for the Blu-ray to come out myself.

I have the series on DVD, and it ain't bad, really. The PQ is pretty good for a SD release. I have an Oppo BDP-83 and using its PQ adjustments, I can up the detail level just enough to sharpen the detail in the costumes.

So far, it's a great series...kind of gives me my Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert fix. The series uses LOTS of the same locations used in XENA and HERCULES. So fans of those shows will find a lot of familiarity with LEGEND. And it also uses a lot of the same actors/actresses that those older series used. Ted Raimi being one.

me and the missus love this show just finished watching the season finale on sci-fi hd great stuff. Kailan is hot she could confess me anytime!

If it's ever released on BR, it will look stunning. The visuals of the series blow me away sometimes, so epic looking.

I like the show as well, was looking forward to a Blu. The next season starts in a couple weeks so be on the look out for that. There is a teaser trailer for the 2nd season on the official website for the show.

Looks really good. I ended up Netflixing the DVDs to tide me over until hopefully a BR is released or I find a good deal on the set.

I know the second season is due to start Nov 7th in the US but does anyone know when its due to start in the UK? ive searched but cant find an answer

Too bad it's not coming out on BD right away. I've miised so many episodes since they kept shifting the time it was playing all last winter. I was hoping to get it on BD and watch it properly. Oh well!
