Default Infamous or Batman AA?

Someone near me is selling Infamous for $30 on Craigslist. I have had my eye on this game but just waiting for a really good deal. As I have mentioned before, I am a beginner when it comes to games though.

Which would ya'll recommend: Infamous or Batman AA? I've heard great things about both but unfortunately don't have enough $ for both.

Is one a little easier than the other? Is Infamous a little too repetitive? I've looked at some trailers & it looks like Batman may have a little more variation to it? What do I know though--ha ha.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you grew up watching the Batman cartoon series then go with Batman, if not then I'd say INFamous.

Get InFAMOUS and then when you have enough for Batman: AA it should be lower than 60 dollars.

Batman by a longshot even though it's a game that will be beaten in 3 days.

Agree... but it's a hell of a game!

To me it has more replay value than Infamous...

Another vote for Arkham Asylum!

I haven't played the full game of Batman so I can only recommend inFAMOUS as one of the best games released this year and the only open-world city game with satisfying, decently challenging platforming with a nice flow from rooftop to rooftop.

I beat the game twice within a few weeks which is pretty rare for me.

Ha ha if it takes you guys 3 days to beat it, it would probably take me 3 weeks!

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. At least on this forum, Batman AA is the clear winner. I thought Infamous was getting praised & getting nods for game of the year though?

Batman's fresher in people's minds.

And I think when a licensed game turns out good or even great, fans of the property outside of gaming are naturally more enthusiastic.

Batman: Arkham Asylum would be my choice of the two, it's just an awesome game and I guarantee that as soon as you've finished it, you'll be dying for a sequel.

Infamous is definitely a clever take on a sandbox game, and there is certainly fun to be had in it--particularly, the platforming mechanics are outstanding and it has good explosions At the end of the day, though, there came a point in Infamous where I really just wanted the game to end--mostly due to the repetition in the missions and so forth. Whereas with Batman, I was left wanting more (which Batman provides with challenge modes, DLC, etc.).

Overall, I think Batman had a better shot at name-your-GOTY-award, but Uncharted 2 rather makes that whole discussion moot, I think.

Both are great games but I would suggest renting Batman and purchasing Infamous. Batman can be beat over a rental period not worth the purchase in my opinion.

This.

If you can only afford one, go with inFamous and rent Batman AA.

Both are very good games, but I agree if you were a fan of the old cartoon Batman, you'll probably love that game more. Hearing all the old voices and everything is quite a treat. Infamous, however, should not be discounted so easily. Yeah, it has some repetition, but it was a lot of fun. And Batman has some repetition as well (though not as much).
