Nice rack! (I know, it's an over-used pun here.) But it is very nice indeed! The Oppo you are getting is one of the best standalone's out there. Nice equipment and an interesting but very nice looking room. Do you have any problems with reflections in regards to the mirrors behidn the fronts/TV and with the hardwood floor?

I have the Panny BD-30 (just about the same as the BD-35), and I think it's load times are above average...I think he is looking for a really quick loading player.....

I had the BD-35 and it is a fast loading machine, especially when you turn off BD-Live.

Question Hmmmmmmmmmm

The BD player I have in my livingroom is the very quick Oppo BDP-83...Now the second machine doesn't have to be that fast but I'm a little spoiled (mind you that's my first BD player).......So how does the Panny compare?

Since I have owned them both. They are very comparable. Again, I have only used them with BD-Live turned off. I have not found a player that loads BD-live discs very quick. YMMV.

Hello DangeRuss.

Nice office setup. I really like the AR's.

I PM'd you a little earlier. It's somewhat wordy so bare with me, it's good stuff!
Also check out the comment and question I asked about a certain poster you have in your office.

Rhian Benson She's the deal!

If it's in an office why don't you just throw a bd drive in your pc. That's what I did and I have a nice ati card to where I can just hdmi out to a tv/monitor and still get lossless if I decide to get a nice little 5.1 up there

That had been a thought and I may still add one or two (burners)later but........ I'd perfer having a unit that's stackable and has a remote to work with the rest of the theater section and speaker array, I realize I could route the sound through a sound card but I'll take the stand alone for now...

Thanks for the input

Hello DangeRuss.

I really dig the office AV/PC setup. The HK looks great and probably sounds great also.

Now, let's talk about the poster! Rhian Benson! That's my girl! Her "Gold Coast" CD is excellent. My favorite tracks are "Stealing My Peace of Mind" and "Say How I Feel". I noticed that the poster is signed! Where did you meet her? Did she perform in New York?

You have a lot of computer hardware. How much storage do you have and is the storage for music, movies or both?
