does anyone remember playing Madden when it first came out on Genesis? (or Super Nintendo) I think it was 91? or 92? or even 90? My favorite part of any sports game I've ever played is contained there within. I don't remember the version, but it was one of the earliest installments. It contained the "Highlights from Other Games" feature. During the halftime show or at the end of the game, it would jump to 'real time' action from other games going on around the league complete with a ticker board. If the Bangles missed a game winning field goal against the Browns with 10 seconds to go, it would play that. or if the Bills scored a touchdown against the raiders to end the game, it would show that. I seriously looooved this feature and wondered every year with great frustration (and anticipation that it would be back) why they ever got rid of that? it added a huge amount of realism to the game...and its been something I've been looking for in every yearly Football release to date (Madden or not). anyone know what I'm talking about? or is anyone aware of a game that has gone there yet? i mean with PS3 capabilities i dont see why this hasnt been reimplemented?
