Quite a few threads on most valuable and obscure/rare etc.
So here's one, what do you feel is the least valuable SteelBook release? I think the most obvious determining factors are qty of the release and perhaps saturation in different markets (i.e. different countries) Is it safe to say maybe Terminator 2 being multi released in many different countries with alot of them having the same artwork will be the least? Final Fantasy not far behind? Although some are harder to obtain and proabably had less prints over all. Or will titles like UP being mass released in both USA and Canada grab that title? Or maybe just a release that always comes in SteelBook form when ordered? (Is LEON from amazon.de still shipping SB form? ... I'm out of the loop on this one.) I think its obvious to say those that hold the most true value are released in only one country and are big hit titles with great artwork. Perhaps 2 markets with both being different artwork of a hit title. ala Iron Man and IAL Your thoughts? |

Maybe Gladiator, almost identical releases in The Netherlands, Germany and France. The only different release of this movie is the UK limited release with the helmet on the front.

I agree with the Bonds, but over time, if they end up releasing all then these would go right back up in demand and people would be scrambling to get some.
Gladiator will be easy to obtain for many folks ... but there are some releases that look better than others with inside artwork and such. |

Bonds for sure. I'm sure they printed more of these than any other Blu-ray SteelBooks by far. Amongst the Bonds, I would say the second set (Gold Finger, Moonraker, and The World is Not Enoughh) are probably more common than any since they were available worldwide via Amazon. Among those three, the least valuable Blu-ray SteelBook is
The World is Not Enough.... ![]() Last edited by xradman; 10-27-2009 at 06:12 PM. |
