With THE CRAZIES remake being released in theatres on February 26, 2010, we've been expecting news about a reissue of George A. Romero's original version of the film, and now we know that Blue Underground will be bringing it to Blu-ray on February 23rd.

Awesom movie, day 1 buy for for me. Not a lot of gore and much more of a social commentary film like the dead series. Plus its being remastered!

Blue Underground is fantastic for releasing all of these cult classics on Blu. Prefer their releases to Anchor Bay's aswell.

Just got my Blue Underground release of Living Dead at Manchester Morgue today from amazon so I am excited to watch it... so looking forward to the Crazies I have never seen that film.

Blue Underground does good HD work

Had mine on pre-order at PlayUSA for a while now, and after the release date they have changed the status to WAITING FOR STOCK. Really anoying! I want my copy now!!

awesome, this year bird with the crystal plumage came out on my birthday and next year the crazies comes out the day before.

Can't wait for this one. The BU site list the sound to be DTS HD Mono. So glad to see it's not going to be some crappy fake 5.1 remix.

hehe, I was talking about The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue.

And it was another 10/10 release from Blue Underground! Looks and sound amazing for a movie of this calibre.

As for The Crazies we'll just have to wait a few more months...

Comes out one day before my birthday!

I'll have to see it and see how much I like it before considering a purchase. I know I'll be buying Night of the Living Dead and Martin day one.
