Video1 or BD Input - Blu-ray Forum

Does it really matter which i hook up too on my reciever from my PS3

Video 1 HDMI, or BD HDMI?

and is it just because receiver companies just label like that so people have reference inputs and wont get confused?

Probably a easy question, but just wanted to make sure.

Doesn't matter which one you use, it'll process the information the same way. But you might want to use BD HDMI since it'll be easier to remember. You should be able to change the input names later on too.
