Yamaha RX-V863BL

Quick question... my buddy works at best buy and can get me a Yamaha RX-V863BL receiver for cheap.... anyone know if this is a good receiver? also, he mentioned it kind of hard to set up... anyone have problems setting things up with their Yamaha receiver? Thanks!
