It was on HD DVD, so it seems like a relatively easy transfer, but i can't find any speculative dates out there. Any of you folks hear any mumblings?

I just sold my wife's HD-DVD. Now were needing the Blue ray and searched the web for a release date and no luck..
Anyone have any info for the 2005 version..

I have heard it is coming out sometime this year on Blu-ray. Universal is trying to release the bulk of their previously released HD DVD's onto Blu-ray this year.

Just got rid of all my HD-DVD's on ebay and my wife wanted to keep P&P. I assured her that I'd go to Best Buy and get one.. I spoke too soon. Thanks for the info.

According to DVD EMPIRE, Universal will release ATONEMENT and PRIDE & PREJUICE are being released on Blu ray. Just in time for Valentine's Day.

Pride & Prejudice is another HD-DVD I can retire. It looks and sounds great on that format, BTW. So the Blu-ray should be equally good.

I've been waiting for this news since I got my blu player. Atonement is phenomenal (I didn't really like it the first time I saw it) and should have won best picture.

Fantastic news about Atonement. P&P was decent, but doesn't hold a candle to the BBC series with Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle that's already out on Blu-Ray.

Wow, the difference in the shots comparing the region B release to this new one are incredible. Blu-ray suprises me once again! I've never seen Atonement, but I'm thinking about blindbuying when I pick up P&P thanks to those shots alone!
