Why are you limiting yourself to Region-A titles only? There are great Region-Free French-language films available overseas that you should consider if you like French cinema (from Michael Haneke's Cache to Olivier Dahan's La mome...).

I'm not Limiting myself. I do Have several from amazon france on blu and HD-DVD. Just got OSS 117 Rio ne répond plus and le dernier combat from amazon.fr

I was just wondering what region A had to offer as I couldn't find a list of them. ones from france have lists..

Paris, je t'aime and Passchendaele were mentioned, but I thought those were in English. At least here in Canada, the back of the DVD box for the former says English-only, despite the French title.

If you are fluent in French and do not need English subtitles, consider getting Caramel. It is a most beautiful film (Region-Free).

I don't speak french I'd like to. If the film has french Subs I can get by.

I need to get myself to a community collage and find some classes. As I'd like to vist Paris and the northern region of France. As I'd like to tour all the areas Bienvenue Chez les Ch'tis was filmed. see a RC Lens football game. see the Ch'ti biere factory. ( I have a small collection of the beers but Importing is very expensive. I have to get few more to complete the collection)
