Default digital finger prints

will the drives burn serial number of the burner on the disk. some dvd burners do this. highin printer put serial number in the picture you can see this with a black light.this drive will die fast if they do this. intel was going to do this with the cpu ,word got out people ran from it.

sony tried this with their cd and got cought. what next sony, blu ray traceer in blu ray disk. i will buy from the guy who believe in private lives..

There was the possibility for some sort of fingerprinting in the DRM, I think in the BD+ part. Until the players arrive, it will be anyone’s guess as to what they are actually up to. My guess is anything they are being ambiguus about they intend to implement for example regional encoding (again wait and see).
