Preamp that handles HDMI 1.3 - Blu-ray Forum

Hello,

I am looking into building a surround sound setup. I already know which speakers and sub to go with. However, it just dawned upon me that I did not find a preamp that handled HDMI 1.3 at all (looked at various brands like rotel, sunfire, etc.). Does anyone know of any preamps that handle HDMI 1.3?

Denon has a 10-channel puppy that is overkill. I'm looking for some good alternatives, but nothing so far.

You should expect a whole slew of HDMI 1.3 products to hit the street this fall. Rumor has it that Denon will have a upper level set of pre-amps coming to market as well.

It is expected, but not confirmed, that almost all new 2007 CEDIA products will be touting 1.3 compatibility, including everything in the Denon lineup.

I am seriously thinking of a nice Denon pre-amp if they put it out.

Integra and Onkyo (which is a different division from Onkyo Pro) both have comparable devices as well.

We have a sticky for 1080/24 devices. Any chance of one for HDMI 1.3 compliant Receivers and Preamps?
