I'm getting Polar Express on Blu-Ray 3D. I know the 3D is so so. What I wondering is, are the higher-quality plastic 3D glasses worth the investment. I would imagine I would probably watch a 3D movie maybe a half dozen time a year. I also realize movies like Coraline use the red-green not the red blue so not all glasses are the same for all movies.
However I heard that if you touch the lenses on the cheapos, they are pretty much done, garbage. If the lenses on the plastic ones are plastic that can be carefully cleaned, an/or, if you get a bit of a better viewing experience with the plastics, seems purchase them for $5 ea as opposed to buying extra disposable ones at $1 each is worth it? Any opinions, experiences? I suppose I should wait to at least view the movie first with the cheapos to see if the 3D is even good enough to watch before investing in more glasses. |
