The second link you posted is for the US release, which is region locked A (the first pressing was region free, but more recent copies are not).

The UK release you posted is already out as a HMV exclusive for a while now, and it's very good (I own it). It has all extras from the US release + more than 40 minutes worth of additional interviews.

I almost freaked when I saw that comment on the region of the US release. My one just arrived today so I tested it and its still region-free. Shipped on the 25th Oct.

Yeah, you have to be really careful when ordering the american disc as the first pressings were region free but DarkSkyFilms decided to go back and region lock the next batch

I'll have to get this on blu-ray, but I probably won't watch it all that often.

I think you're getting this confused with the recent Arrow Release of Dawn of the Dead which is a 3-Disc Release. This is a 1 disc release so somewhere along the line amazon have messed up the run time.

Are there any comparisons between the USA and UK releases, for the picture quailty of the film?
Not sure at this point if they're from the same master or not. If not, I'll be wanting to go for the better one, obviosuly.

Based on the specs provided, I would imagine that this looks and sounds exactly the same as the American Release.

I can confirm that the UK release features the same transfer and audio as the Dark Sky release.

And with added extra features. For the price it's being sold, it's a must have release for anyone who enjoys the film.

It was a 3 disc edition or is this the DVD review?

Thanks for this info as I was scared that my US copy (that was hard to find as region free) was going to be the inferior release.
