Ponyo Blu-ray out on March 2 - Blu-ray Forum

It's due out in March. I put the Blu-ray.com link below for the film. I am personally hoping the French release and/or the US release is using the same master as the Japanese release. The French Blu-ray is due out in France on December 23. Disney is releasing it there as well as in the US and Japan which is why I am hoping for it and I hope that the French release is not Region B locked. I saw the English dub in theaters and I have a subtitled DVD of the film from Japan. It's a great movie, I've watched it so many times. Miyazaki's best film next to Princess Mononoke, in my opinion.

The Digital Bits has also stated that the release date on the insert is wrong. That would be less than a month away and it hasn't been announced yet. I haven't seen it, but heard really good things about it. I wish is was earlier.

According to the insert brochure in the UP blu-ray case, Ponyo will be released on December 8th (BD and DVD).

It's been proven to be false and that's actually the Japanese release date.

Finally got PONYO blu-ray today. I am watching this movie right now and the PQ is excellent (I give 5-star rating). This disc has English subtitle, Japanese subtitle, Cantonese and Mandarin subtitle but without English soundtrack (It's a pity). Major soundtrack is Japanese 6.1 ch DTS-HD master.

After watching the movie, I discover there is an North American version with English soundtrack and Japanese subtitle under Special feature/Extras (You cannot choose any subtitles under this version as it is fixed.) Those who want to view the disc with English soundtrack (2 ch) will be happy about it.

Is the complete film available with the English dub? I'm just asking because CDJapan mentions "Special Features: excepts from the North American Ver. (English audio with Japanese subtitles)"

The soundtrack of the North American version is English Dolby digital stereo for the whole film.
