Default Reference level on Pioneer VSX819k

I've been trying to find out how to set my 819 to reference level, but it doesn't seem to have the features "per se" to set it to reference level. Am I missing something or just completely noob when it comes to finding out what to do?

All I can do (or am able to do) is change the dB level of the speakers and change the master volume...is there something else?

To get Reference Level you need to calibrate each speaker so it outputs 75db using the internal test tones and an SPL meter (you adjust the trim - the db level). Another way is to use your Pioneer's MACC auto EQ. I suggest you use it to set the levels for you. Check you owners manual for instructions.

Now, to get true reference level during playback (85db with peaks of 105db and 115 db for the sub), you need very efficient speakers and lots of power. Most home setups cannot achieve this. It's really not a big deal, but since you asked about reference level I thought I would throw this out there....
