Default Name Some Supporting Actors Who Have Passed Recently

While everyone knows about actors like Patrick Swayze dying, often we forget about the actors in supporting roles who really add flavor to a great movie. Every now and then, I check on IMDB to be surprised and sadden that a particular actor is no longer with us. Here are a few examples:

Vincent Schiavelli - died in 2005. This guy is instantly recognizable as he played in numerous movies. He had a dead pan look and played creepy characters. I remember him best as the subway ghost in Ghost who teaches Patrick Swayze how to push a coin.

Richard Paul - died in 1998. I remember him best as perfectly portraying Jerry Fawell in The People vs Larry Flynt.

Lane Smith - died in 1995. Very sad to find out he died. I loved his roles in Son and Law and My Cousin Vinny.

Edward Woodward who just passed was a great supporting actor in such films as the original Wicker Man (1973) and Hut Fuzz.

He was also in The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Swinging Cheerleaders, and The Sting. But he will always be remembered for the leader of the Black Widows in the two films you mentioned.

I grew up in the 70's-80's and remember him in a ton of TV series as well.
