harmony 1000 or 1100??? - Blu-ray Forum

i have found a great deal ($150 for 1000, and $200 for 1100). is the 1100 that much better than the 1000? i might be able to get the 1100 to come down just a tad in price, but the 1000 is firm at $150. really ready to pull the trigger on one of these. any and all advice i would greatly appreciate!!!!!

Holy cow bells batman! whered u find the 1100 for that price? im dying for one of these! and im not sure but i know the 1100 is newer and in black but i dont know of any differences or advantages over the 1000 both the same xcept the color to me

The 1100 fixed a lot of the bugs the 1000 had, like delayed responses and problems with the Z-Wave functionality that led to a class action settlement by Logitech. Get the 1100, it's worth the extra money.

I thought I read there were a lot more bugs and issues with the 1000 and the 1100 was better because it had a better processor or something. I may be mistaken, though.

Have you done a search?

Between the two, I would go with the 1100. There is a thread on this forum (clicky) referencing a class action lawsuit against Logitech regarding the 1000.

Some people have been saying that they are getting their 1000 upgraded for free because of the bugs. Maybe get a 1000 for cheap and try to get a 1100 out of it.

i did some searching, but i just didnt know if anyone else had the 1100 and could give me the ok on it. hoping i can talk him down even more, found it on craigslist. i think i am gonna go ahead and go with the 1100, for the price just cant pass it up. the person who had the 1000 actually has 2. anyone in texas that might want them i'm sure we can work something out if you want me to purchase and ship, etc for a small fee. let me know. also, anymore info from those 1100 people would be great. thanks for the replies and feel free to continue!
