New Releases Announced on Blu-ray but I though this one among some others i found out about today was very interesting...

Yes, one of the best horror movies of all time. I can't wait to get this one! And it's a 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition? Even sweeter.

I know that I haven't even had time to put it in my store yet-so probably not yet-but it should be showing up everywhere very soon.

It retails for $28.99
but since I usually sell retails like that at around $20.08
any other store as well might have something very similiar to that price-which is good but hopefully since its Warner they will improve the quality-they are my least favorite Blu-Ray releasing Studio.

Ahhh... such great news. Heard Twilight Zone: The Movie is headed for Blu as well. Going to be a great Fall for all the Blu-horror fans out there!

I heard about the Poltergeist thing a while ago on another website, but kind of forgot about it since I hadn't heard anything else. I guess the stars (that are still alive) came back and did interviews for the anniversary release. Twilight Zone would be a must purchase too. Anyone know why this movie was never released on DVD? I thought it had something to do with the rights to it. That would be too cool on Blu-ray. I think I saw some import DVDs on Ebay, but I think they were bootlegs. My sister has a VHS tape that is pretty old.

This one absolutely scared me s***less when I first watched it (kept me awake that night!) and it still freaks me out now.

Pet Sematary was the first horror movie that gave me the creeps due to Zelda's (Lady/Monster with spinal problem) ugly face and stuck to my mind for a long time.

Poltergeist is a classic horror movie. Still, I'm not sure if I'll bother picking up this disc. With it being on a BD-25 I'm skeptical Warner Bros. is spending the extra bucks to have the film elements scanned and treated digital intermediate style. It's cheaper and quicker to use HD telecine methods, but the end results are not as tightly focused, you get film image movement and a greater amount of dust and specs in the finished image.
