X-Files Seasons on DVD only $12.50 each

Available at amazon, I believe this is a Black Friday deal.

These are the slim versions, that is, they are missing the bonus disc with features and may be missing some of the per disc special features as well.

I consider the run of X-files to be 7 seasons long since that's when it had David D. on it full time. So I bought all 7 for only $87.50 and all shipped with Free Super Saver!

I know its not Blu, but its going to be a long time before this show ever makes it to blu-ray. I believe Fox at one point in some marketing news release back in 2007 mentioned X-Files planned for blu along with Simpsons and 24. But that was nothing definite and since then and the economy no more has been heard on this.

Also since X-Files was edited on video, this would mean going back an rescanning the 35mm film negatives and redoing the FX shots. All of which is very time consuming and expensive, so enjoy on DVD in the meantime. Not to mention that seasons 1-4 are in 4:3

I am sure when the blu version comes out, I will able to easily unload these for at least $10 each.
