Default 5 Audio reference scenes from my collection?

Hi folks. I was wondering what were some good specific audio reference scenes from my Blu Ray collection. Collection is as follows:

Batman Begins
Bourne Trilogy
Braveheart
Casino Royale
The Dark Knight
Die Hard
Flight of the Phoenix
Gladiator
Heat
Hunt for Red October
I Am Legend
Into The Wild
Live Free or Die Hard
Pearl Harbor
The Perfect Storm
Point Break
Quantum of Solace
The Polar Express
The Prestige
The Terminator
Terminator 2 Skynet Edition
Terminator Salvation
Top Gun
Transformers
True Blood Season 1
When We Left Earth

Curious to see what great audio scenes are hiding in here. I've recently made some changes to my setup and wanted to see what would be good for testing out the changes and such. Thanks.

Here are some of my favorites

The Dark Knight - The freeway scene, the ballistics test fire scene, hospital explosion

Transformers - The freeway scene/Optimus fight, Ironhide flip

Top Gun - Tower flyby

Quantum of Solace - Intro car scene

Pearl Harbor - Most of the action scenes sound great

Flight of the Phoenix - Flying through the storm in the beginning (gnarly bass!)

Terminator Salvation - This whole movie sounded amazing in the theaters, can't wait for the blu

Right I am aware of that thread. Just wanted to be specific to what I actually have and particular scenes if people were so kind to do so. Thank you!

I knew I'd get an answer like this from someone. Ugh. I know what scenes I remember but I wanted to see if there were things I missed.

What's wrong with sharing? That's what he's looking for, to hear what scenes are favorites of others. If he didn't have a nice sound system before, and now he does, he's startin off fresh.

I remember the first time I heard some scenes with my new speakers and my new big sub and I was blown away by a few scenes. I had no idea what I was missing with an inferior system

Exactly. My system is far from where it needs to be but I like finding new scenes to listen to so I can tweak what I do have which ain't great at the moment! Working on it though...funds are low right now so I try to have fun with what I have for now.

If you missed them, obviously they were not very momorable!
Memorable audio results when you have a quality sound system. A good sub and under-seat transducers will bring good bass scenes to life.

Actually there was a scene from a crappy movie ...Pushing Tin Billbob Thornton...I believe these was a 747 flying overhead I freaked out and actually ducked ... That wasent even a BD just a DVD. Also the mobie Heat ,,, when all the bullet casings hit the ground ,,, that sounds VERY realistic wouldent want to crank that with the windows open

Just watched Heat on thanksgiving. I got to say the bank robbery scene is going to be my new "show off" scene.

These will put your audio system through its paces:
Casino Royale--Airport runway chase
Dark Knight--Car chase leading to Joker capture
The Prestige--Transported man trick near end
Quantum of Solace--Boat chase
Bourne Identity--Embassy chase

You know what, there is one particular mention you have there that bothered me on my setup. During Dark Knight at the end of the chase when he flips the semi, the crash of the semi doesn't come across the way I thought it would. Like a huge bang! Anyone else relate to this? Maybe I'm just being too picky but it seemed odd. Thank you for the additions though! I will def check them out.

The semi flip didn't have much midrange or treble punch, but the subwoofer makes the floorboards shake. You may prefer the Hong Kong extradition scene, as the breaking glass and small arms fire have more treble attack. Overall, this audio track is heavily weighted toward the bass.

Interesting. Doesn't do that with my setup. Perhaps my new sub will remedy this.
