Will virtually 'all' the 'descent' catalogue titles be eventually released on Blu-ray?

Just an example.. "Stuart Little"
Not exactly an extremely demanded movie, but i think it'd look pretty nice on Blu.. is it likely that films like that will ever be released?

The best answer I can give you is re-mastering movies for blu-ray release is expensive so studios will only re-do the ones that they think will sell enough to generate a profit.

I think the possibility of Stuart Little on Blu-ray is strong at some future date. Do not ask me for a timeline though. It is true in general, only a fraction of movies that saw a release on dvd will get a BD version.

So basicly films such as "Stuart Little" are more likely to be released when Blu-ray has a bigger market, as its more of a family-type movie?

Thankyou both for replying

I would definitely expect something like Stuart Little to be released on Blu-ray........ I'd never call it a 'decent' movie though

Given the fact that it's a family film makes it an easy choice for the studios......

It's mostly the movies you haven't heard of before (not talking cult classics of course) that you should worry about never making it to Blu-ray......

"B" horror movies with terrible production values might even make it eventually..... they might start putting "Triple Features" on single discs etc..... anything is possible.
