I posted this on the Harmony owners thing but didn't get a response
![]() Just picked up a Harmony One yesterday...Think I have it figured out for the most part....one thing I need help with if you guys don't mind. I have the activity set up to Watch TV and it turns on everything correctly but puts the TV on channel 4 instead of 3. I've been through the different options 3 or 4 times and can't seem to find how to fix it . Any help is much appreciated. |

I'm not a Harmony remote user, but I do have a question about your problem:
If you don't use the Harmony remote and manually turn on the tv, will it still goto channel '4'? or also If you use the remote that came with the TV, does it still goto channel '4'? |

![]() I have the Harmony One, and I don't think it changes channels when you set an activity as all info for the TV is sent from the receiver. Gheck the manual, and phone Logitech. I found them to be very helpful when I got my One. It can be confusing when you first set it up, but you will soon find it gets easier ... good luck and enjoy! ![]() |

hmm... we didn't seem to have that problem... just make sure when you are setting up the remote to watch tv that you make sure you select the tv should be tuned to channel 3.
if correct, believe this is asked when you are setting it up through the logitech software that comes with the remote. hope this helps, J & Jen ![]() |

- Open the Logitech Harmony Remote Software on your computer
- Click on the Activities Tab (if not already selected) - On the 'Watch TV' Activity, select 'Settings' - Click on the 'Review the settings for this Activity' - Check to see what the setting is for your TV. Is the setting for Channel 3 or 4? - If the setting is for Channel 3, not sure what the issue is. If the setting is for Channel 4, select the 'No' radio button and click 'Next' - Click 'Next' maybe 4 times (until you get to the 'input or channel' screen for the TV). - Select the correct channel and complete the process. This should work for what you need to fix. |
