I believe I have pressure mark damage on my 37" 720P LCD HDTV (LG brand).
Towards the left side of the screen, there is a section that is darkened. The pixels are not "dead". It just tends to have more of a noticable, dark haze depending on the colors on screen. If I have a completely black screen, I really can't see it. Also, when I have the whole screen filled completely with a very bright white color, I really can't see it either. But depending on the coloring on screen, I can notice that this section is darker. Most things I've read online says that there is pretty much nothing that can be done. Is that true? Even if there isn't a home remedy that I can do myself, is this something that a professional TV repair person could fix at a reasonable cost? Any info as to what my options are is appreciated. |
