Why you MUST buy 300 on July 31st!!

Put a bullet in HD DVD and buy "300" on Blu-ray next week! HD DVD is desperately sitting on the sidelines in anticipation that they will be able to claim 1 title available on both formats that shows HD DVD outsells Blu-ray! Read HD DVDs reaction in the excerpt from the following link following Target's recent announcement to stock only Blu-ray players:

"The HD DVD camp will be counting on sales of the blockbuster film "300" from Warner Bros., which will be released in both formats, and the first season of the popular sci-fi TV show "Heroes," which will be available exclusively on HD DVD."

Let's open a can of "Casino Royale" whip ass on HD DVD this coming Tuesday and buy every copy of "300" on BD in existence!

According to amazon we're still outselling it on blu ray, I wouldnt worry I'm sure it will outsell hd dvd 2:1 or maybe 3:1....

I think we'll be in good shape. With all the PS3's in the world, I'd say 300 hits the mark for probably 90% of the owners. With the surge in PS3s since the price drop, this is a good opportunity for many new owners to make their first BD purchase.

I want to make SURE we make it so, and I want to make sure the BD association sends out a press release asap, highlighting the fact BD is mopping the floor with HD DVD on a major release like "300".

I don't wanna leave any room for any different outcome - BD must win this one...

I agree with those that posted above. The release of "300" in both formats provides an indication to the current status of the "war". We are going to blast them on this one

I see it listed at Future Shops, here in Canada, at $29.99CAD on Blu Ray and $34.99, on HD DVD. Of course, it's a combo with a worthless DVD copy included. Count me in on this one too. I'll also buy Shooter at the same time, just so they can't claim a victory there, as well.

I don't think Sniper (starring Wesley Snipes) is out on Blu-ray and I wouldn't recommend it either. Maybe you meant Shooter?



The 300 Blu-ray will kick the HD DVD 300's ass, count on it.

this is the kind of title that the ps3 gamer will jump in for. i wouldn't worry about it.

I own HDDUD too, but I'll be buying Blu, as will alot of other HDDUD "Combo haters" like me

The Game they include & potential playback issues isn't worth the loss of my $5.

300 and Shooter BDs will be in my bestbuy basket on Tuesday. I do believe that the numbers from the "300" sales will not be overlooked by companies that have yet to pick sides and hopefully change some of the ones who have. Of the BD purchases I've made so far, this one is the most important. VIVA LA BLU-RAY!!!
