Teen Wolf Remake - Blu-ray Forum

Tyler Posey, who is best known for his roles in "Lincoln Heights" and "Brothers & Sisters," will take on the role of Scott McCall, a dorky high-school student who gains a slew of new powers after being attacked by a wolf - including the gift of attracting girls.
Young stars Tyler Hoechlin ("7th Heaven"), Crystal Reed (MTV's "Hard Times") and Dylan O'Brien have also been cast in the pilot.

The series will reportedly be both a drama and buddy-comedy, written by "Criminal Minds" creator Jeff Davis.
Although the original film was a PG plot, MTV Senior Vice President Liz Gateley hinted the series might be a bit darker.
"It has a fresh take and is very different from the original," Gateley previously said. "It has more of an 'American Werewolf in Paris' feel to it."

No word if the new series will feature Scott strutting his wolf talents on the basketball court like the original.

From wikipedia; "In June, 2009, MTV announced that they would be adapting Teen Wolf into a television series "with a greater emphasis on romance, horror and werewolf mythology"

Now, I can't wait for Teen Wolf Too...

IMO, I thought both parts of Teen Wolf were horrible and Hollywood needs to start thinking of original ideas, this remake nonsense is getting out of hand.

MTV doing a show on this? So we're going to have a werewolf hanging out in a flat with no shirt on EVER talking about how he hooks up with every female dog in the neighborhood?

this is completely unnecessary and can only tarnish the image of the somewhat 80s classic original.
