Sorority Row Remake??? - Blu-ray Forum

I have not heard one rumor or mention of this being released. Has anyone?

Also I apologize if there is already a thread on this but I could not find it.

It hasn't been announced yet for DVD or Blu-ray.

It's from a smaller studio and didn't do well at the box office. It might not get a Blu release anytime soon.

I see it's being released in the UK on the 11th Jan.

Strange that it hasn't got a US release yet.

Yeah I missed this in theaters and love slasher films and have been waiting awhile for a date to be announced. UK is lucky they get it Jan sometime.

I have this pre ordered on Amazon UK.
Will see if they cancel it or not.

Yeah, it's from Summit, the company behind Twilight. They don't seem to care much about their other movies because Bandslam, another flop, still doesn't have a release date in the US either. I wouldn't be surprised if neither of these movies get a Blu-ray release but I would have thought they'd be announced for DVD by now.

Yeah Summit does have quite a few other movies they have released. Earlier this year they released Knowing and Push (Knowing was excellant). So maybe this will get announced when Twilight 2 does. I still have hope for a Blu only because a DVD has not been announced yet either and I really want to see this but if I see a DVD and no Blu than I will lose faith.

If you thought The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday The 13th were bad remakes. You are still in for a very special treat. However, a very very very very bad one.

I'm not a huge horror fan but I loved Friday the 13th remake and most people did to. Can't say for TCM as I never saw it.

I absolutely loved the TCM and Friday the 13th remakes. Those 2 and The Hills Have Eyes remake are the best 3 remakes of the decade IMO.

. Only time will tell how I feel about Sorority Row.
