I'd pay upwards of maybe $90 for an opened (but mint) copy of Iron Man, but I'd never cross the $100 mark. There are better uses for my money than that. |

see i agree and disagree. while i'm not OCD about SB's i am def a collector. and i am killing myself tryin not to spend crazy amounts of money for iron man or i am legend. i really want them but in the end it is still just a movie. and like you said, i have other things i could spend the money on. what to do what to do. haha

i dont understand why all these countries (canada, uk, germany, france, japan) are on the ball with puttin out steelbooks but here in the u.s. they dont release crap. only some disney sb's and a random one every once in awhile. if futureshop does it why cant bestbuy?? doesnt make sense to me

Germany is too on the ball. They're pumping them out left and right for every movie (some good, most truly awful) that seems to come up. If they keep it up, German releases won't feel very unique anymore.
I'm glad I only collect the Future Shop releases, personally. I'm quite pleased with how Future Shop's been handling steelbooks, on the whole. Nearly all have been good (or great) movies, and the cover art has always been quite pleasant to look at compared to the amaray release. |

You spending $100 for an Ironman steelbook today - its nothing compare to what I spent on Iron Man ( All North American Release ) last year (and given it the release date). ![]() So its only $100... GO GET IT ![]() If you really really like something dont be stupid letting a day pass by not obtaining it.. Life is Short! Last edited by xage; 12-18-2009 at 04:50 AM. |

i agree. futureshop is doing it really well. great movies. great art. so if they can do it like that then why cant a u.s. company like bestbuy? so i can go to the store and get them at reasonable prices? too good to be true i guess
