WWE's European DVD distributor, Silvervision, released details on WWE's Best of Raw 2009 DVD set that will hit stores on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Looks like the blu-ray version will definitely be a Canadian exclusive for now, also i read it will be in Australia as well.

Anyone know if this is actually coming out? i preordered on Amazon.ca but when checking stock availability at HMV.ca, no stores have it in stock, whereas the DVD version is in stock at majority stores.

Amazon.ca is pretty slow at updating their release list so maybe this isn't coming out.

Guess we'll find out this Tuesday.

I must say, this is a good idea on WWE's part. I would be curious to see similar editions for past years (such as 1996, 1998, 1999).

I emailed E1 Entertainment (WWE DVD/Blu-ray distributor in Canada) several days ago concerning this release wondering if it will come out or not and she emailed me back saying:

"I just got word back from the Marketing Manager here and there is no blu-ray scheduled for RAW Best of 2009".

Guess that settles it. On the bright side that means Royal Rumble 2010 will be the first WWE Blu-ray for 2010 for US and Canada...not so bad.

Man this sucks. They ruined the WWE release by making 4:3 for no reason. That is so stupid, all of their 2009 video is in widescreen!
