Indiana jones KOTCS THX intro!

Has anybody heard the intro to this? i was checking out the dvd someone had (dont have the blu yet) and that THX intro surprised the hell out of me. my sub was crying for help and rattling. i dont know what kind of organ notes it was playing but it must of been in the teens cause my sub could not handle it.

Damn i cant wait till i get a new sub.

Is this intro on the bluray?

Of course it is, right before the menu loads Yeah I love that intro, its mighty loud.

I believe this is the same intro found on the Clone Wars (Movie) Blu Ray as well. You should check out the DTS-MA Intro found on the Terminator 2 Skynet Edition. I don't have the ability to decode HD Audio but damn, it was nice hearing it with Standard DTS.

I used to blast the original THX intro back on my Terminator 2 laserdisc back in the mid-90s. I've been living in apartments lately so I can't disturb the neighbors.

Um yes, ever since the blu-ray was released. It is really awesome demo too.

I always enjoyed listening to the THX intro and would use it to test how loud the volume of the film was going to be. I haven't seen it on too many Blus, though.

Sod the neighbours. I have new neighbour below me and he now and then plays loud music and I don’t give hoot, I’ll just select a loud dynamic piece of music and take the subs a tiny few db and let Pet Shop Boys play (Firefox VS Pet Shop Boys) on youtube LOL.

I don’t think there that many bluray titles with THX its not like the old days of laserdisc and the odd few VHS. DVD it had milder selection then it started to decrease. I noticed Disney stopped doing them and then I stopped buying Disney. LOL

Fox The Towering Inferno Die Hard oh, my memory???

Paramount Clear and Present Danger Star Trek Generations, I think Top Gun? Star Trek First Contact, and so on

Universal had nice selection Casper Apollo 13 Waterworld Dragonheart so on and so on

Warner Bros I think they only a few Twister laserdisc

Most of these didn’t get the THX treatment when it came to DVD and the same with Bluray as well.
