Inglourious Basterds' stars Christoph Waltz and Michael Fassbender (also from the great 2008 film Hunger) has joined with Keira Knightley (who cares) in David Cronenberg's new film. Here is the link:

Sounds interesting, Christopher Waltx was awesome in Inglorious Basterds (one of the few good things IMO). and Kierra Knightly ... looks nice as long as she doesn't have to act too hard. I'm not familiar with the third person.

The third person is Michael Fassbender from Inglourious Basterds as well. The British officer at the bar scene, doing to "3" finger mess up.

Yes he has been different, but still has the gore in his films for those fans. I actually like both of his works.

Also, hasn't all his work since day one played with the "psychological" themes? Scanners, etc. I know what you meant and actually hope this new film plays out with a little 80's gore to go along with the psychological aspects.

Not the "gore", so much as that he could tell a better story by being Weird (see also eXistenZ), than he could by being Realistic-Dark...
C'mon, ANYBODY could've directed "M. Butterfly", but how many could've directed "Dead Ringers" or "Naked Lunch"?

I got ya. Some of his newer works like Eastern Promises and a History of Violence are great though.
