Default Costco....

I just want to make sure, so does costco have a lifetime warranty on video game systems because I just got the ring of death on my 360 and I want to get a new one and I want to know if i buy a 360 from costco tomorrow and then a year or 2 from now if my system breaks can I return it and get a new one?
and if there is a lifetime arranty I will also buy a ps3 in a month or 2

Does costco sell the elite at the actual store because it isnt on their website?

I don't know of any store or video game company that offers a lifetime warranty on their products as this would lose the company millions in returns. However, Peter Moore has announced they extended the warranty on the 360to 3 years. Out of curiosity, why buy a system known for this problem?

Yeah, why are we talking about game consoles other than the PS3 on Blu-ray.com?

Costco is known for a very generous return policy. However, I think they caught on that many of their customers have abused their generous policy.

I think the best thing to do is try it.

There are some things they now will not accept returns on. They amend this continually. I believe they no longer accept TVs and DVD Players after a certain number of months. Not sure about gaming systems. Try it.

well i had my 360 for a year and it just broke. and i want the system again because its my favorite system except for the fact that its built like crap.
and game wise i like it better than playstation because xbox has more 1st person funer games, playstation has a lot of rpg's and japaneese style game that im not into.

I think Costco had terminated the "lifetime warranty" on electronic goods last year. Now it's about three months or something like that.

I guess if you want the XBox and it broke down within the three months, Costco can replace it for you. Beyond that, it falls under MS's new three-year warranty.

Personally, I'd save myself from the aggravation.
