Dale Murphy should be in the MLB Hall of Fame!

Sadly this may be the final year he's on the ballot. Last year he only got just over 11% of the vote. If he falls below 5% this year he's gone, unless the Veteran's committee decides to grow a brain and put him in.

The whole situation frustrates me. I think I laid out my case pretty well.

Loved watching the Braves on TBS in the 80's. Dale Murphy was one of my favorites back then. It's a shame that players who have made baseball a joke will be admitted into the HOF and he might not.

Also one of my favorite memories of the Braves in the 80's wasn't Murphy, but Bob Horner. Four HR's in one game. It was just too bad they lost the game.

Remember when the Braves and Phillies (I think) got into this huge brawl, and some dude tried to go after Murphy in the dugout. Bob Horner stands up in front of the dugout and stares at him, and the guy just turned and ran after someone else.

ha ha ha ha. My dad still gets a kick out of that to this day.
