Default Windows 7 Install Issues

I am doing a fresh install of Windows 7 from a burned image. The install stops at expanding files @ 70% and eventually bombs out.

I have formatted the drive multiple times, tried removing memory modules, and I guess the next step is reburning the ISO.

Has anyone else had this issue, if so what did you do to fix it?

It is going over an XP install, but it has been reformatted. So, it is fresh.

See if you can use the original disc, or if you purchased the image online, see if you can get another copy.

I am not mounting it, it is a disc burn.

I wish I had an OEM disc. It is an eOpen license that was downloaded. I could try to get media at a later date.

+1, sounds like a bad burn. I would definitely retry to burn another ISO.

I always do slow writes. I've learned that it isn't worth it. Same concept as measure twice, cut once.
