A Perfect Getaway - DC Freezing? - Blu-ray Forum

So I finally got around to opening up A Perfect Getaway, watched it last night. The Director's Cut freezes at the exact same spot, the screen goes to black and that's it. It happens (fortunately) at the end of the movie, as a couple is flying off in a helicopter just before the end credits. There is no freezing during the same scene in the theatrical version.

Anyone else experience this or do I possibly have an isolated, defective disc? I'd just go swap it for another copy at BB but I don't have the receipt.

Equipment: 80 GB PS3 with most recent firmware.

The Director's Cut version played just fine for me. I played it all the way through the credits, no freezing.

40 GB PS3 with firmware 3.15

Thanks, Prog. Looks like an isolated bad disc incident, my second or third since collecting blu-rays (Serenity was another freezer).

Best Buy was kind enough to exchange it for me today even without a receipt (although they did check my rewards via my phone number to check that I did indeed buy it at BB).

My DC goes to black at the scene where it shows them murdering the married couple. It doesn't freeze, it just goes to black and the audio keeps playing.

Then if I rewind it and hit play the picture returns.

First time I thought it might be my player, but it happened again the second time I viewed it.
