Default Blu-ray movies (subtitle) flickering light problem UPDATE: solved

I've recently purchased a PS3 Slim 120 Gig and a LG 50PS8000 tv, the PS3 is connected to the tv through a HDMI (not too fancy price).

I'm getting a very annoying vague illumination/flickering on my tv when I'm playing a movie. It seems to only be present when I have subtitles on. This has been on practically all the 8 movies I have seen this far.

Have tried to search around here for a similar problem but no one has mentioned anything. Please help me out on this one.

Could it be the HDMI-cable that it is not fancy enough? I also have a DVI-cable connected to a computer and it does not flicker when I watch from there.

Thank you,
Undrium

After help from a kind soul in another forum I solved this by turning of "dynamic contract" in the tv-menu. I'm mentioning this to help other noobs with the same problem.
