Is there a way to burn programs recorded on my DVR to a DVD-R? I have some shows like the RnR Hall of Fame concert (WHICH IS AMAZING) and hockey games that I want to save on discs just to make room on my DVR.
I use a Motorola DCH6416 HD Dual Tuner DVR. Any solutions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Luc |

I can do it from my dvr which is a Samsung. I have audio video outputs on the back of my dvr that I attach cables from to the audio video inputs of my dvd recorder which is a Magnovox. Then I just put the TV output to whatever the dvd recorder is hooked up to and you should be all set.

not to thread jack, but on the same "basis" as this, is it possible to hook up an external Hard drive to the back of it?
I see a SATA plug on the back of my Scientific atlantis 8300 HD and I did google and found some hard drives for it, but wondering if any would work. |

Luckily, I have an old Humax Tivo on my back TV that has a built in DVD burner. I don't think they make them anymore. It is not HD, but it is good for burning history stuff for class.
I do think you can get stuff off the regular DVR and onto DVR or your computer, but I don't know how. I did a quick Google search and found several methods. |
