Halloween II Blu-Ray region locked? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know whether the Canadian version of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2is region free like the US version?

The reason I ask is because I intend getting this from PlayUSA (£15.99), but sometimes Play issue the Canadian version instead of the US disc. So I just need to be certain first.

I believe Sony is handling the release within North America, and if their track record remains the same, it will be Region Free

yep. Alliance is releasing.

Alliance releases are bilingual if a french language track is present. It is very likely that the disc is a direct port of the US Sony disc, thus making it region free. This will need confirmation though.

Thanks, man. I think there's actually a french audio track on it.

It is region locked. Oh well, looks like I'm paying a couple of quid more for it from MT.

BTW, the CDN back cover does not indicate a French track, & the spine is English only.
