Default Anyone looking for Laminated Movie Posters

http://sefem.com/

Found them via my local movie rental store. they are in Quebec but have great prices.

Movie posters for $10.99 or $21.99 for movie poster laminated on wood ready to hang on wall (excellent price)

Thanks for this! I'll definitely keep them in mind. They have some pretty decent posters and shipping isn't too astronomical ($14 each) with the item being relatively heavy when plaqued, either.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should be looking for frames that can house 27x40 posters and what exactly I should be looking for? I've been interested in getting some for a while but no clue where to begin. I saw a site moviegoods.com will do it for you for like $100 lol any better suggestions?

Depends on the quality you want to pay. I ended up going a cheaper route with Michael's. The usually have a sale on too for 50% off the frames. I got mine for $37.99 a frame and at one point, I had a coupon for an extra 15% of your entire order which I heard they do a lot so it was even cheaper. It's just a matter of quality. If you have really expensive posters in them then it's not good because I hear the backing of the frame can potentially eat away at the poster but that's over the course of many years, could be 5, could be 10, I never got a real answer on the question because no one could say for sure. It's also not solid glass on the front of the frame but like a plexiglass (not sure exactly what it's called) but it did the job for me. I'm building a theater in my basement and I just wanted some frames that were cheap & looked good and they did the trick. Another thing to look at is light exposure. A lot of framers use UV protected glass so that they're posters don't fade from being in the sun but again, I'm in the basement so no worries there and the glass is expensive, looking in the $100's of dollars for framing like that.

If you truly value your posters then professional framing is probably the way to go but my frames look good and for the savings, I was willing to go the Michael's route.
