how to fix a lamp? - Blu-ray Forum

hi guys, i have Sony Projection set. My lamp gone out few days ago. i already have an extra lamp but i do not know how to fix it. Does anybody knows about any place from where i can get any information or any guide on how to fix it.
help me:mad

You should be able to see this on the Sony website. I would call their support line and ask them to direct you to it or email you a copy. The manual may have the info too.

Whatever you do, don't get your fingerprints on the bulb. You should wear a pair of surgical type gloves (without the talc) during the replacement.

Go to the following link and type in the requested info concerning TV type, etc. and you will be directed to the appropriate user manual.

Make sure the TV hasnt been on for a few hours. There should be a door on the side or back of the set, open it, pull out old lamp (may need to unscrew it with screw driver), replace with new lamp (may need to screw back in), and you are good to go
